As you can see from the chart below, thirty eight new listings came on the market in Bowie MD last week. These were a good combination of offerings for anyone from first time home buyers to move up purchasers. Fourteen of the new listings were priced below $250,000, a nice price range for first time home buyers for Bowie, MD. The most expensive new listing was a 4 br, 3 bath house in the Woodmore section listed for $667,000.

Four new rental listings came on the market this past week. The current rental market is very robust and competitive in Bowie, MD.

Forty eight properties changed or moved into a form of Contract status. Thirty of these properties moved into full contract status. This is a future indicator of settlements to come in the near future.

As you can see from the chart below, fifteen new listings came on the market in Severna Park MD last week. None of the new listings seemed to be in the range for first time home buyers.  The least expensive listing was 3 br, 2 bath listed for $279,900. The largest of the new listings was a 4 br, 2.5 bath house in the Lower Magothy Beach section listed for $1,179,000.

Three new rental listings came on the market this past week. A bit of an explanation on this though. One house is actually listed three times, once for the basement, once for the main house, and once for both.

Twelve properties moved into or changed a form of Contract status. Eight of these properties moved into full contract status. This is a future indicator of settlements to come in the near future.

Crofton Woods Subdivision - Crofton MD

Crofton Woods, Crofton MDCrofton Woods is a wonderful sub-division located within the Crofton Triangle. While most of the homes in the Crofton Triangle were built in the late 1960's to early 1970's, Crofton Woods homes were built in the mid 1990's. Not only do home owners in Crofton Woods have the advantage of being in the triangle, they also enjoy the benefits of newer homes.

The special tax district of Crofton, MD, enjoys one of the best locations in Maryland. Crofton is located in between the two largest employment markets in the area, Baltimore about 30 minutes to the North, and Washington, DC, about 30 minutes to the South.

Crofton is also about 15 minutes from Annapolis and the varied leisure activities of the Cheasapeake Bay. Ft. Meade, one of the largest employers in the State, and projected to grow by about 22,000 additional jobs in the coming decade, is located about fifteen minutes from Crofton, MD. When the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) is completed, Ft. Meade will employ more people than the Pentagon. Crofton, MD will be a destination point for many employees relocating in to Ft. Meade.

Crofton Woods ElementaryCrofton Woods consists of 173 single family detached homes. One of the three Crofton Elementary Schools is located in Crofton Woods. All graduating students from Crofton Woods Elementary feed the Blue Ribbon Crofton Middle School.

Crofton Woods residents apparantly like to stay in the area. There have only been two homes listed and sold in Crofton Woods in the past year. Only one home in the Crofton Woods sub-division is currently Active in the MLS, and can be viewed here.

The current inventory for Severna Park, MD homes is 164. 5 of these are rentals and 159 are homes for sale.

As you can see from the chart below, sixteen new listings came on the market in Severna Park MD last week. None of the new listings seemed to be in the range for first time home buyers.  The least expensive listing was 4 br, 3.5 bath listed for $325,000. The largest of the new listings was a 2 br, 3 bath house in the Magothy Beach section listed for $769,900.

One new rental listing came on the market this past week.

Eight properties moved into a form of Contract status. Three of these properties moved into full contract status. This is a future indicator of settlements to come in the near future.

The current inventory for Odenton, MD homes is 180. 34 of these are rentals and 146 are homes for sale.

As you can see from the chart below, fourteen new listings came on the market in Odenton MD last week. These were a good combination of offerings for anyone from first time home buyers to move up purchasers. Six of the new listings were priced below $250,000, a nice price range for first time home buyers for Odenton, MD. The largest of the new listings was a 4 br, 2.5 bath house in the Seven Oaks section listed for $420,000.

Six new rental listings came on the market this past week. The current rental market is very robust and competitive in Odenton, MD.

Sixteen properties moved into a form of Contract status. Nine of these properties moved into full contract status. This is a future indicator of settlements to come in the near future.
