Wow-that is really something.
Hi Richard, What a great shot. Wonderful photo and nice post. Thanks for sharing.
Richard, Neat photo... New meaning for being busy as a bee...
Your building consultant for life in Nashville, TN
Rich - nice shot, but you were scaring me for a minute, thought this might be like that Quiznos commercial with the oven saying "put it in me".
Rich,
This is a serious close-up. Excellent shot, nice and clear and crisp. Quite well done. :)
Steve
Cindy, Thanks. I love nature shots.
Gary, There are so many great photos here on Active Rain.
Mike, They were pretty busy here in MD yesterday.
Mike, Quiznos is just trying to outdo Burger King with the spicy commercials. I love it.
Steve, I kept my other eye on him to make sure he stayed put.
Hi Rich, Great close up of that bee! Looks like he's doing a good job :-)
Richard, the bees are busy at work. How did you sneak up on him to get this photo? Well done!
Wow Richard - neat picture - which i was as busy as that bee.....
Richard, I looked at the title and I thought you were from Maryland, so I was wondering why you had Pollinate ME (Maine?)
Now that is a close up of Mother Nature at work. Thank you for sharing!
WOW that is a GREAT PHOTO >>> SPRING IS HERE FOR SURE>
You have a great camera and a good eye for photos!
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Love the focus on the small part of his back. Very cool.
Hi Rich:
Great shot!
I guess this bee is busy doing his thing!

Far Freaking Out RICHARD.....he looks like a little mechanical bee, I LOVE THIS SHOT...I really love bugs and this is a very cool BUG!!! hahahaha..even the title is robotic...good stuff!
This is one heck of a fantastic bee shot, Rich! Way to go! I love to shoot bees too, and almost posted one myself today!
Debi
Mary, He stayed there for the longest time. Must have been hungry.
Mike, He never even let on I was there.
Kathy, Don't we all in this market.
Kevin, Funny, I never thought of that. Just trying to put an emphasis on me.
Tony, I love taking nature shots.
Eric, You bet. Now if it would only stop raining, we could enjoy it here in MD.
Charles, Canon 50d using a 50mm fixed macro lens. That combo even makes me look good.
Sally, Thanks. I probably could have opened up the aperature a bit to get a little more depth of focus.
Toula, As long as they're pollinating and not stinging, I'm good.
Gail, Thanks. Caught him at feeding time. He stayed on that flower so long I don't think he could fly away if he wanted.
Debi, That would have been weird if you posted a bee today too. I tried a new way to unsharp using the lightness channel in the Lab Color mode. Supposed to get fewer artifacts and halos. You end up sharpening outside of the color channel.
Rich, Can you do a tutorial for it? I'd love to learn about the technique!
Debi
Rich, this is a great photo! Perfect timing!
