Who thought chocolate cake was a good idea? How priceless and I'm sure those photos will be cherished memories for years to come.
I think the baby thought the chocolate cake was a grand idea...not too sure about the cleanup crew~!
Love the pictures.....precious moments.
Rich,
Looks like the cake was a smash hit. These are really clear pictures. This would qualify for our new group "Observances and Celebrations." :)
Steve
Great pics to have in the years to come....congrats! I bet everyone in the room had a little cake on them before it was all over with.
What a cute baby! Looks like he is enjoying his first birthday.
Aw this is so cute!
Cute! Another chocoholic in the making.
This is a great picture of the little guy.....wow they grow so quickly so enjoy. School will be next, then high schoo, college and so on. Enjoy them while they are little, this age is fleeting.

Cindy, He devoured most of the cake.
Dawn, As a Grandparent, I just hand off to the clean-up crew. Loving it.
Barbara, Digital cameras are great for keeping these memories.
Steve, I didn't know about it until now. Thanks.
I have a granddaughter to turn 1 on May 28... WE got about the same pictures. Don't you love it.
Ginger
Tina, He didn't throw much of it around. He actually ate most of it.
Shirley, Thanks. He really did enjoy the day.
Melissa, Thanks.
Irene, One year old is a good time to start.
Patricia, They really do grow up pretty fast. The memories are great.
did anyone else get a piece of cake? :)
Way to DIG IN! I notice whoever's idea this was, did not include ice cream! LOL
Debi
Richard, this is AWESOME! Thank you for sharing!
Perfect! He's only one and he already knows the best way to eat cake. That is one smart little human you got there.
Ginger, Must be the new thing for first birthdays.
Jen, This was just for him. The rest of us had a traditional birthday cake...with forks.
Debi, He actually ate about 3/4 of the cake. Of course, he wore a lot of that too.
Marney, Thanks for stopping by.
Dedra, It really is a shame that we have to grow up someday.
Now, how awesome is that!! Joshua wasn't feeling all that well on his 1st birthday, but he still managed to enjoy his cake almost as much as your grandson did :)
He's a year old already?
Oh Rich, he's precious! Cuddle that little guy close, cake and all, he's wonderful!
Grandparents have the best job in the world don't they? Ya knowlove them, spoil them and then send them home....TSK, TSK
Great pic sir.
Morning Rich....What beautiful eyes your grandson has, and he managed to keep cake out of them peepers. When I saw shot #1 I was really hoping for #2, thanks for being a mind reader....have a great week ahead.
Did he really eat 3/4 of it???
love it!
we do the same thing and let the kids have the whole cake!
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
GOOD MORNING RICHARD! There is something to be said for keeping that "point and shoot" handy! What a cute little guy -- and he is getting the taste of a good life that includes chocolate! Enjoy our Monday! -- Gabrielle
Jim/Maria, There's always room for cake. Especially if you can eat it with your hands.
Kris, That year went by pretty fast. He got plenty of hugs after he was hosed down.
Don, You couldn't be more right. Now I know why my father always smiled when he visited the grandkids...he knew he was going home in a couple of hours.
Gail, Well, 3/4 of the cake disappeared but I'm not sure it all went into his mouth. Have a great week in Titusville too.
Charles, I don't remember doing that as a kid but I think it's just great.
Gabrielle, With the digital world he already has more pictures of him than I do of my whole life. He does seem to be a bit of a chocoholic already.
Hi Rich:
How adorable is that!!!
Well, there goes that cake!
Did anyone else get a piece before the demolition!
Seems like he feels the same way about cake that I do :-) He is just gorgeous. happy 1st birthday.
What beautiful little face!! Do I see a hint of grandpop in the tilt of his eyes? He's gorgeous and I am so happy for you. God bless the little guy!
Oh my, I have pictures so similar from children and grand children. Don't you love the way that little ones dig in when it's something they love!
Yummy! LOL. That is awesome. We too have similar pics. And we did have to clean up :) ~Rita
