Crofton MD home inventory levels continue to decline

The Crofton MD real estate home inventory continues to shrink as of December 2009. The extension of the $8,000 first time home buyer tax credit seems to be fueling the reduction in inventory.

Although inventory levels continue to decline, there is still a decent selection of homes in each price range.

December 2006 - 140 Crofton homes available
December 2007 - 142
December 2008 - 116
December 2009 - 97

Price Range - Current Inventory

$000 - $199 - 12
$200 - $299 - 33 Excellent value in this price range for 1st time buyers.
$300 - $399 - 21
$400 - $499 - 14
$500 - $700 - 17

Wow Richard, Crofton is ahead of the curve in recovery.  It seems your inventory peaked in 2006 while that's when ours hit bottom.
