There are a lot of gyms in the country that boast a large membership. You would never know it by going inside though. Gold's Gym, located at 1625 Crofton Centre, Crofton, MD, not only has a large membership, but they use the gym...a lot. Whether its before the rush hour, or after work, the parking lot is crowded with the cars of dedicated exercisers.
Gold's Gym is the place to socialize...and sweat. Whether its aerobics, or weight training, Gold's Gym has all the equipment to meet your training needs.
Not many newer residents know it, but the location of Gold's Gym used to be the only movie theatre in Crofton, MD many years ago. Gold's bought the one screen theatre and after extensive renovations, opened the only workout center that is actually in Crofton, MD.
Other gyms in the area include LA Fitness, in Gambrills, and SportFit, in Bowie. Both excellent choices, as well.

I wonder what it is about Golds Gym, they always have a lot of cars in front of them where others may not. Folks do use them that's for sure.

I can attest the Gold's Gyms have great facilities for a variety of fitness activities. My grandson is active at the one in Reno.
Here in Sacramento, I belong to California Family Fitness, which has wonderful pool, spa, steam and sauna familities as well as workout equipment. I'm an avid swimmer. However, I must admit that this relentlessly long winter almost had me buying a three month membership to LA Fittness, which had an indoor pool to get me through the colder months!

Rich, I love to go to my local gym too. It's a great workout with fun people. In lieu of that, I walk my little dog, which is just as much fun and uplifting!
Interesting change for a venue. Was the floor of the theater not sloped? I'm glad someone found a good use for the old theater instead of letting it sit vacant for years like so many others places are in today's economy.
