Shop Maryland - Tax Free Week

With the kids going back to school shortly, this is the time of year that many States try to help out parents by forgiving the State sales tax for a period of time. Actually, you can see all the States policies here. I know the concept of a sales tax is foreign to those of you who reside in States that don't have one, but here in Maryland we're used to it, even if it's not our favorite way of giving back.

The timing on the sales tax forgiveness is short lived so don't miss out on this opportunity.

For those of you residing in Maryland, here is the official State website outlining the "Tax Free Week" promotion.

If they can do without taxes for a week, you're being taxed to much!
Have a great Thursday Rich,

Hi Richard, can I reblog this post on my Life In Frederick Maryland (outside AR blog)?

Of course I'd link back to you, I'm a local SEO so I know how to properly attribute to the author using effective anchor text

Assuming it's ok with you what keyword phrase would you prefer I use to link to you?

Annapolis Real Estate maybe?

WANDA: Every little bit helps in this economy.

PAUL: Ha! You've never been to Maryland I'm guessing.

DAVID: Certainly. Annapolis Real Estate would be fine.

Richard,

I haven't heard when we will be having our tax-free shopping but it should be fun when it gets here.

We have these little tax breaks here in Florida also.  Lately, it's only been for back to school supplies and clothing.

What a great idea...instead our state wants to include clothing.  More and more from less and less and fewer and fewer.

Richard what is the Tax rate in MD? I was so shocked the other day we have 9.75% I never knew Diane handles all the shoping of clothes etc....

MORNING RICH!  Did you buy anything? AZ could use some relief - we just got another 1% tax hike - sounds like we are up there with MD now! -- Gab
