While it’s not something I’m contemplating for myself, Maryland voters get the opportunity to vote tomorrow, when early voting for the 2010 general election begins. If you’re a registered Maryland voter, you can choose early voting beginning tomorrow and continuing until October 28, 2010.
Detailed information can be found on the State Board of Elections website.
If you live in Anne Arundel County, you can vote at the following locations:
- Severna Park Library, 45 McKinsey Road, Severna Park, MD
- Edgewater Library, 25, Stepneys Lane, Edgewater, MD
- West County Library, 1325 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD
- North County Area Library, 1010 Eastway, Glen Burnie, MD
- Annapolis Senior Center, 119 South Villa Avenue, Annapolis, MD
If you’re not available for early voting, don’t forget the regular election day on November 2, 2010. Your vote in this election is important…don’t take it for granted.

Richard
I looks like there is going to be a large turn out for the elections.
Good luck and success.
Lou Ludwig
Rich, This is a great reminder and a great way to tell people where to go...to VOTE that is! I will be sending my ballot out by mail tomorrow to ensure it gets to its destination in time.
Richard, I'm sort of bummed about voting! All of my local candidates lost in the primaries. I may decide to vote just to do write-ins.
Rich...
We have early voting here too, and it IS something that I am contemplating!
Richard, how easy is that? And, since I am getting involved with a food program for seniors, that would make it doubly easy....I could take them to pick up their food shares and vote at the same time. One less trip for them and me!
Thanks, again, for all you do here on the Rain!
Thanks for the reminder. I need to get my butt out and do early voting. I keep procrastinating...
I think voting should be allowed everywhere starting 15 days before election day...We don't have it here...Who came up with the idea that a Tuesday is a great day for electing?...Why not over a weekend at least?...I'm pretty sure there would be a better turnout nationwide...Enjoy the day.
LOU: This year is going to be unprecedented.
WANDA: I'm waiting for November 2nd but any time is a good time to vote.
PAT: I don't get the Fenty thing. Thought he would have been a lock.
RICH: Go for it. You've already got enough info to make a decision.
SUZANNE: I've been watching your pay it forward stuff and am very impressed.
MIKE: Any time is a good time.
ERNIE: Now that you mention it, compressing it down into one day isn't very effective.
