Quiet Waters Park - Arts and Music Festival

Sponsored by the Friends of Quiet Waters Park, Bank Annapolis, and Renewal by Andersen, the 21st Annual Arts and Music festival is being held on September 24th and 25th, 2011. Parking is free, admission is free, and the festival hours are 10 - 5.

Besides music, art, food, there is a juried craft fair on the grounds of Quiet Waters Park. The artisans are displaying many forms of crafts for sale, both outside under tents, and inside. You can see spectacular creations of pottery, photography, jewelrey, painting, woodcrafts, and many more.

I stopped by yesterday and the Festival was pleasantly crowded, but with more than enough room to move around. The weather today is expected to be overcast, but lets hope the rain stays away.

The early fall is always a great time for these events, not to warm, not to cool and plenty to see! Enjoy your day!

GOOD MORNING RICH!  This looks like a great time - did you happen to get any close up photos of the paper cutting artwork?!  I hope it doesn't rain as well for everyone you wants to attend!

Quiet Waters Park Art & Music Festival looks like a great event, Rich. I always feel sorry for the exhibitors when the weather turns bad on them. Hope today is lots better.

Hi Richard,

I love musical and art festivals. Sometimes they are just so commercial and sell trinkets but the good ones have quality art. I love the paper cutting pictures and I have a few frames in my house. It is so delicate and beautiful. We have a lot of these art shows in Redlands, CA almost every month so they are fun to go to and I am just amazed how creative everyone is.
