Tagged, not once, but twice for the same MeMe. And to think that I had lunch with these ladies just last week at the Annapolis MD Active Rain lunch gathering. So, instead of trying to do this twice, I get a chance to do it only once.
Patricia Kennedy and Martha Brown double-tagged me for this MeMe. Here are all of the ground rules that need to be followed:
1. Create a blog post with a link to the person who so happily tagged you. See above!
2. List all of these rules in the post. Feel free to cut and paste this.
3. Share seven things that others may not know about you.
4. Identify seven friends, contacts or near enemies in which to adorn this MEME. Tag them at the end of the post and give a link to their blog.
5. Contact each of the tagged members and let them know that you were indeed fast enough to catch them and that you did indeed tag them...no matter how much they say you missed them! No schoolyard rules in this MEME, nope you gotta do it if you are tagged. Sorry guys!
Here goes...you won't be impressed:
1. I've had a moustache since 1964 when I graduated high school, except for a short period of time in basic training in 1967. My children have never seen me without a moustache, and never will.
2. I lost about 95% of the hearing in my right ear serving in the military.
3. I worked for Bell Atlantic for 33 years without taking a sick day...in retrospect, that's sick.
4. I became a grandfather for the first time this year.
5. My highest productive month as a single agent, with no assistant, was $3.7M.
6. The best car I ever owned was a 1964 Triumph TR4A.
7. I'm on Twitter but am still struggling to "get it."
As my end of year gift to others...no AR members will be MeMe mugged from this post :)

You did a splendid job on your double whammy meme. Happy New Year.
Nice post Richard. Thanks for sharing.
33 years without a sick day! Wow! You should be proud and they should be grateful!
Congratulations on becoming a Grandpa. Enjoy every minute!
I'm trying to get Twitter also! LOL
Richard- Congratulations on your first grandchild. They are just as special when you get to #16! As for 33 years without a sick day...THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE. Hope they gave you extra retirement pay on that one LOL
Rich...
Hey, you're a grandfather! Congratulations! And that Triumph was a great car!
#2 and #7....
We have a lot in common.
#2. I have an 80 -90% hearing loss in my right ear also. It happened just days after my son's birth. Boom... it just happened out of the blue. The theory is that after the c-section, I possibly had a blood clot that sat long enough to kill the nerve that connects my ear drum to my brain. (So I suspect you have that constant rrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg also).
#7. Twitter... I am plugging along.
BTW My dad had a Triumph back in the 70's when I was a kid... I think it was from the 60's. He bought 2 at the junk yard and used parts from one and the motor from the other and rebuilt one fantastic car.
Joan, Thanks!
JoAnna, I was proud and they weren't grateful. I know there is something to Twitter but I'm not there yet.
Martha, Sixteen grandchildren makes for exciting family get togethers.
Richard, Great car...leaked hydraulic fluid everywhere. Put that top down and cruise the open road and there isn't anything better.
Marlene, With the ringing, I'm never alone. Keep Twittering, we'll get it eventually.
Hi Richard:
Congratulations on being a Grand Daddy!
I was double Me-Me'd the other week too...they seem to come in pairs now!
Have a Happy New Year,
33 years with out a sick day. Must be good to be so healthy all the time!
Toula, Thanks! There's a lot of it going around, it had to happen.
William, I've been lucky. Keep your fingers crossed, the hard part is coming up now.
This is your mugger checking in to see that you did your homework! And, yeah, I was never much into sick days except when I worked for a company that went ballistic every time someone called in sick!
Patricia, It's that old Catholic school training kicking in again.
#3 is, yes, sick but funny at the same time.
#4 and #5 - Congratulations!
#7 - I can attest that the TR7 was a pile of garbage. I think that car was the beginning of the end for Triumph.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life -- make it a good start.
