AN ACTIVE RAIN MILESTONE OF WEIGHTY PROPORTIONS

Richard Iarossi - Annapolis MD Real EstateSome Active Rainers celebrate 10,000 points. Some a hundred posts or more.

Of course there are the professional milestones with 100, 200, 500 thousand points and more.

Significant milestones all, and congratulations to those who accomplished their goals.

Today, I achieved a rather weighty milestone of my own.

With this submission, I've achieved the number of posts that equal my weight. There has to be a prize for that. What do you suggest? No salads please.

Congratulations Rich, now step away from the buffet line.

Of course, I could have accomplished this sooner if I was a more prolific writer...or a less prolific eater.

An admirable feat no less.  Congratulations and add some whipped cream on that piece of pie you earned.

(it could be fatfree whipped cream)

This is a weighty milestone indeed.  Congratulations to you -- I don't want to match your mile stone in this manner - as 200lbs on me would not look too good (lol)!  Enjoy this acheivement!

Rich - this has got to be the most unique milestone!  Good for you...

How funny. I am not sure I will be following suit to celebrate that particular number.

I passed my blog submission weight a little while back.

Well now, ~that~ explains why I've gained weight since joining AR.  I'm just maintaining my Pound-to-Post Ratio  :-)  !!!

Posted by Cheryl Johnson, Bob Taylor Properties, Inc., Los Angeles, CA over 3 years ago

Now that's an interesting milestone! Maybe you can set a goal to have twice your weight in posts and work at it from both sides. Maybe 380 posts and 190 lbs.? Just a thought!

How on earth do you even think about a statistic like this???? Congratulation, just make sure you are not always mating your weight with your posts.

Posted by South Beaches Real Estate Professionals over 3 years ago

Congratulations.  I am hoping that in the end my number of blog posts will far outweigh my weight and not the other way around.

Richard, I think only a guy would compare his posts to his weight!  In any event bravo to you!  We all forward to your next 200 milestones blogs!

Good one. Now you better start eating if you don't want your post count to pass your weight!

HI RICHARD!  Your posts get better and better everyday!  So .. we have pretty much all your numbers now - except your height!  The prize has to be food - so to maintain that healthy dose of pound per post - I say a slice of New York cheesecake, or a lobster ravioli pasta dish with lots of Italian bread and olive oil -  or go the other extreme and Hawaiian lau lau with sticky rice!  I loved the laugh for today! I better go get some lunch - I think I am hungry! -- Gabrielle

That's funny, and a great way to look at those two things and tie 'em together.

Richard,

What an interesting correlation...gosh I hope to stay around a long time...so points will accumulate...gosh I hope the pounds don't....

I think that is why I have not pursued my ABR...don't want to be "A Big Realtor"...LOL!

Gail, In my world, fat free and whipped cream should never be used in the same sentence.

Joan, Thanks. It doesn't look that good on me either.

Ellie, This is definately one of the things its not too good to copy.

Tony, I could have too if I had better will power.

Cheryl, I'm going to try and stop now. One weighty milestone is enough.

Calvin, No will power.

Charles, With almost 400K points you passed the pounds to posts ratio a long time ago.

Jared, Thanks. Active Rain member can be very creative.

Gabe, Posts, not points...yet.

June, I'm on it, thanks.

Julie, Yeah, thats what caused it. Now I have something to blame.

Pat, Glad to help.

Anne, I have to write a lot faster or eat a lot slower.

Stacey Ann, Keep writing, I enjoy reading your blog.

Pam, No comment on that comment. My Momma didn't raise a fool.

Renee, Laughing is good for the soul.

Steve, Maybe there's another milestone in this next week.

Gabrielle, As it turns out, the prize was lunch at "Famous Daves," a barbeque rib place. Would it be tacky if I wrote another milestone post tomorrow?

Jim, It was just staring me in the face this morning.

Lori, How about "A Bodacious Realtor?"

Richard, what a great line that is!

Your statistic is worthy of attention, so up to the top of the Optimist Board you go.  Congratulations!

Keep eating!

Keep Blogging!
