That most be a sign of spring. Looks like we will have a beautiful day in central Minnesota.
Geez Richard, I got nervous because I didn't get to church today. Have a great day.
I saw a couple of weeks ago when we had snow. He was so beautiful against the white snow
Looks like 'the twitter in red'...LOL! beautiful!
Hi Rich:
How beautiful!
My favorite type of bird. I love the cardinal red color!
Have a great week.
Great shot, Richard. We don't see those around here.
Nice capture! He certainly brings life and color to one's day!
kk
Very Cool and very red :-)
I have not seen any in my neighborhood. Do cardinals migrate? I wonder where they were during the winter.
What an inspiring way to begin a day!
Spring has arrived, love that red.
This is a beautiful picture! Cardinals are a bright light when the sky is still a little gray making it's way to Spring.
I noticed a cardinal in our backyard this morning. Can't wait for more signs of Spring.
Yippiee...spring is only 4 days aways, at last. We are so overdue for spring this year here in seacoast NH
Portsmouth NH Real Estate
Good one Rich! I love cardinals, and wish we had them around here! they are such pretty birds.
Debi
Rich...One of my favorite birds ...Great shot...I really have Spring Fever!!!
Hi Rich: Well isn't he a little cutie and obviously enjoys the treats you put out for him. Very nice shot.
I want to possibly clear something in your comment on Debi's post....hope you don't mind Debi, just want to answer the question I think Rich was asking. Debiis using a 70-300, not a fixed 300. Last Sunday I was out in Viera wetlands and was talking with this fellow who had one of the biggest lens' I have ever seen. He has a fixed Canon 400 F2.8. The thing was massive. Having the Canon 100-400 attached to the body of my camera, it weighs close to 4 pounds. That's a lot of weight to lug around. Hope this helps.
Gail, Super helps. The fixed Canon 300 is in the $4,000 range. The clarity of Debi's shots is fantastic. Rich
That is not only a fine bird but it is also our State bird!
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
The cardinal is such a burst of color in the dreary weather we have had of late. What a terrific shot.
It looks like the real bird is talking to the concrete bird! Wow, what a photo. You captured it beautifully!
Richard, what a really great photo! And what a beautiful bird! These are the ones I yell at my cats for chasing!
Richard,
I love those birds. They look awesome in the snow.
Thanks for sharing,
Ann Hayden in warm Wildwood, Missouri
WOW... what a perfect picture, amazing God's creation for us to enjoy. Have a great and successful week.
The little black chickadee is cute, too -- LOL. We don't have many cardinals around here.
